SCIO — Do you have an interest in cottage gardens? Do you like to make your own tea from garden herbs and blossoms? Join the Jefferson and Harrison Master Gardener volunteers for English Garden Tea from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 27.

This event will be held at the Scio Branch Library, Lower Level, 331 W. Main St. in Scio. Topics for the day’s presentations include designing English cottage gardens, garden art, attracting birds and teas from home-grown flowers and herbs. Participants will also work on a make-and-take teacup craft and have the opportunity to receive door prizes.

There is a $30 cost for the program, and a continental breakfast and lunch are included courtesy of event sponsors B’s Bouquets, Magnolia Manor Assisted Living, Woodsfield Savings Bank, Robin’s Greenhouse, Michael Hauber and Barbara Dewey.

Pre-registration is required. The deadline to register is 4:30 p.m. April 19.
