Local vocalist will be featured at Coffeehouse

NEW MARTINSVILLE — ArtsLink’s 2024 Coffeehouse Series continues Tuesday with Talan Chambers.
The free 6:30 p.m. concert, sponsored by First Mutual Bank, will be held on the performance deck at the Francis Creative Arts Center at the corner of Maple Avenue and Washington Street in downtown New Martinsville.
Chambers is a 2024 graduate of Paden City High School. He has been eager to be on stage since he was 4 years old. He has been a guest vocalist/guitarist for the Ebert Brothers and Foggy Meadow Band, opened for Barbara Lynn and the Silver Eagle Band, won the Sistersville Oil and Gas Talent Show three times, won his age group at the Town and Country Days Talent Show and was first runner-up overall and was able to open for John King. In 2022, he won his age group in the Town and Country Days Talent Show and Best in Show Overall. He has also performed three times at the Hundred, West Virginia, Fourth of July celebration. He performed at the Back Home Festival in 2023 and 2024. He has performed at Paden City Labor Day, Music in the Park, the Sagebrush Roundup three times, and was a finalist in Wetzel County Idol. According to a release, anywhere there is a stage, he is trying to climb on it.
