Festival of Trees nets $18K for Health Right

WHEELING — The 2025 Wheeling Festival of Trees was a success, raising $18,000 for Wheeling Health Right.
Spokesperson Ivan Myles said the festival, which took place from Nov. 16-23, was able to sell all 103 decorated trees, wreaths, table top decorations and bird houses available. Volunteers from the community decorated all of the festive items for sale.
Contributors included Oglebay Resort, Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration, WTRF-TV 7, R.S.Q.P. Printing, The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register, Lowe’s, Lamar Advertising, the Ohio County Commission, Jim Mills, Disone & Stohl LLP, Steve Novotney, Rocky Fitzsimmons and Butch Maxwell.
This year, the festival also added a train display and train raffle, which had two winners.
The festival committee will begin meeting in March to start planning for 2025’s Festival of Trees, which will take place in November.
