Stacy Marie Dawson and David John Hetzel were united in marriage Sept. 8, at 2 p.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. James LaCross officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Bill Dawson of Florida and Micki Travis of Wheeling. The groom is the son of Robert Hetzel of Bellaire and Lynn Hetzel of Wheeling.
Michelle Stoehr was maid of honor and Rick Ashton served as best man. Other attendants included Shere Totterdale Barte, Jorden Seabright, Kristen Hetzel, Bridgette Duley, Anita Chillog, Lindsey Ritch, Raegan Kasserman, Marissa Tucker was junior bridesmaid and Karlie Faison was flower girl. Groom's attendants included Brandon Kasserman, Billy Dawson, Joe Parker, Trip DeForest, Matt Totterdale, Travis Corell, Oscar Padro and Steve Chillog was ring bearer.
A reception was held at Ernie's Esquire Supper Club.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Bellaire St. John Central High School and cum laude graduate of Ohio University. She is a seventh grade teacher for Brunswick County Schools in Shallotte, N.C. Middle School.
Her husband is a 1994 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic School and West Liberty State College with a degree in marketing and management. He is a marketing manager for Wyndham Vacation Resorts in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Following a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
