Emily Kate Griffin and Chad Eric D'Aquila were united in marriage Oct. 6 at 2:30 p.m., at the Church of Christ, Wheeling, with Minister Charles Schultheisz officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Dana Griffin of Bellaire. The groom is the son of Fran D'Aquila of Shadyside and the late Edward D'Aquila Sr.
Brandi Griffin and Abbey Spradling were maids of honor and Doug D'Aquila and Eddie D'Aquila served as best men. Other attendants included Amber Zdunczyk, Krystal D'Aquila, Crissy D'Aquila, Tiffany Sechrest, Deb Tierney, Jolene Dull, Amy Keadey, Eric Bonfini, Mike Tierney, Brent Adams, Chad Adams, Josh Schneid, Chris Moore and Aaron Pollock. Hannah D'Aquila was junior bridesmaid and Tyler Griffin served as junior groomsman. Makenzie Zdunczyk was flower girl and Luca D'Aquila and Matthew Griffin were ring bearers. Karady Rogers served as the guest book attendant.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2001 graduate from West Virginia Northern Community College, with an associate's degree in human services. She will graduate in December from Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor of arts degree in organizational leadership and development. She is employed by Cabela's as a retail product associate in the clothing department.
Her husband is a 1996 graduate of St. John Central High School and a graduate of Belmont Technical College, with an associate's degree in business management. He is employed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 141 in Wheeling.
The couple will reside in Bellaire.
