Kayla Mae Fluharty and Keith Mitchell Grigaitis were united in marriage on Oct. 6 at the Flushing Alliance Church with Pastor Jack McKimmie and Rev. Dean Lancaster officiating the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Fluharty of Lafferty. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Grigaitis of St. Clairsville.
Shelli Carpenter served as matron of honor and Stanley "Stosh" Grigaitis served as best man. Other attendants included Jamie Carpenter, Misty Toole, Jessica Fluharty, Jessica Crumm, Leanne Grigaitis, Jill Grigaitis, Jason Wodarcyk, Mark Meddles, Dave Gerber, Bill Elerick, Frank Grigaitis and Brandon Fluharty. Morgan Carpenter served as junior bridesmaid. Brady Fluharty served as junior groomsman. Chloe Sirca was flower girl and Alexander and Nicholas Fluharty and Gregory Grigaitis were ring bearers.
A reception was held at Union Local High School Commons.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Union Local High School and Belmont Career Center. She is also a 2007 graduate of Belmont Technical College with an associate's degree in Medical Assisting. She is employed by Dr. Justin and Associates as a Medical Assistant.
Her husband is a 1995 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and Belmont-Harrison Joint Vocational School. He is employed by Wal-Mart as an assistant manager.
Following a wedding trip the couple will reside in Flushing.
