Kirsten Michele Marconi and Eric Christopher Hutkay were united in marriage on Oct. 20, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Martins Ferry, with Pastor Philip Van Dam officiating.
Parents of the bride are Alan and Diane Marconi of Tiltonsville. Parents of the groom are H. Thomas and Danene Hutkay of Dillonvale.
Destany Doty served as matron of honor, Mari Ann Ohba served as maid of honor and Richard Gatchel served as best man. Other attendants included Heather Rak, Kyle Roskovich, Tara Vargo, Kristina Mankin, Chad Hutkay, Jeremy Rivera, JD Nidle, Ian Marconi and Joel Biro. Natalie Rak and Corinne Zucker served as flower girls. Jason Felici and Derek Felici served as ushers. Angela Rizzo served as the guest book attendant.
A reception was held at the Wheeling Artisan Center.
The bride is a 2002 cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts degree in speech and hearing science and a 2006 graduate of The University of Akron where she received her doctor of audiology degree. She is employed by the Stark County Educational Service Center as an educational audiologist.
The groom is a 1998 cum laude graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He is employed by Omnova Solutions, Inc., as a corporate internal auditor.
Following a honeymoon to Las Vegas, the couple will reside in North Canton.
