Erin Nicole Skibo and Ryan Donald Leonard were united in marriage Oct. 20, 2007 at 2:30 p.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, Ohio, with Monsignor George R. Coyne officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald R. Skibo of Tiltonsville. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Donald D. Leonard of Martins Ferry.
Danielle Schlepp served as matron of honor with Jeremy Leonard as best man. Other attendants included Stefanie Leonard, Lauren Herrmann, Leslie Adamsky, Allison Maderia-Joseph, Allison O'Konski, Matthew Skibo, Aaron Rykowski, Robert Berger, Joseph Craig, Jay Parrill and Ryan Dixon as junior groomsman. Reading selected Scripture passages and prayers were Ed Leonard, Helen Dixon and Kimberly Gates. Music was provided by St. Joseph Choir under the direction of Marsha Chrisagis, with Audrey Coup, Robert Duck, and Mary Jo Midei as cantors, and Kim Leonard, organist. Altar servers were Karlee and Kelcie Leonard with Hayley Gates and Kaci Rykowski as program attendants.
A reception followed at the Serbian-American Cultural Club in Weirton.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and a 2002 graduate of Trinity Health System School of Nursing. She is employed by Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh as a registered nurse.
Her husband is a 1998 graduate of Martins Ferry High School and a 2003 graduate of The Ohio State University. He is employed by Consol Energy as a longwall systems operator.
Following a wedding trip to the Hawaiian Islands of Oahu and Maui, the couple will reside at their new home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
