Annemarie DeGenova and Michael Edward Dimmick, Jr., both of Bellaire, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Bellaire, with Monsignor Gene W. Mullett presiding at the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. DeGenova and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Edward Dimmick, Sr., all of Bellaire. Grandparents of the bride are Malvina DeGenova and the late Joseph S. DeGenova and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mass of Bellaire. Grandparents of the groom are Jean Carpenter and the late Robert Dulaney of Bridgeport and the late Charles and Faye Dimmick.
Crystal Schrader was maid of honor and Marc Anderson served as best man. Other attendants were Danielle Kinney, Jamie Kovalo, Maria Holmes, Dana Mass, Kelly Price, Anthony DeGenova, Rick Pawlaczyk and Travis Jarrett. Courtnie Dimmick was a junior bridesmaid and the groom's son, Coltn Dimmick, served as junior best man. Flower girls were Alexa DeGenova and Isabella Street, escorted by ring bearer Issac DeGenova. Jean DeGenova and Amber Dimmick recited the readings with Bob Dodrill, the bride, her parents and Tonie Sivert providing the music.
A reception was held at Generations Pub, Wheeling.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of St. John Central High School and a 2004 graduate of West Liberty State College, with a Regents bachelor of arts degree in music and communications. She is employed with the Wheeling Intelligencer and News-Register as a reporter for the Moundsville bureau.
Her husband is a 1993 graduate of Bridgeport High School and attended West Virginia Northern Community College. He is employed by Tri-State Machinery, Benwood.
Following a wedding trip to Walt Disney World, Fla. the couple will reside along West 23rd Street in Bellaire.
