Malpezzi, Fillipovich

Kelly L. Fillipovich and Michael B. Malpezzi were united in marriage Dec. 8, at Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Barry Hall officiating.

Parents of the bride are Richard and Kathy Fillipovich of St. Clairsville. Parents of the groom are William and Lillian Malpezzi of Las Vegas.

Shelley Coyne was maid of honor and Casey Griffin was matron of honor. Rick Grace and Carl Cabaniss served as best men. Other attendants were Holly Fillipovich, Sharon Bean, Julie Spano, Kristin Kiaski, Jenn Fillipovich, Steve Malpezzi, Bill Malpezzi, Rich Fillipovich and Dustin Kiaski. Cheyenne Fillipovich and Akasha Ostos were flower girls and Thomas Malpezzi served as ring bearer. Greeters included Shayna Fillipovich, Kayla Fillipovich, Tyler Greenwood and James Fillipovich. Reading selected scripture passages were Sandy Malpezzi and Paul Fillipovich.

A reception was held at Glessner Ballroom, Oglebay Resort.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and a 2002 graduate of Waynesburg College with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She was recently employed by Reliant Energy as a business analyst in Pittsburgh, Pa. After relocating to Ontario, Calif., she will be employed by Green Mountain Recycling as assistant business manager.

Her husband is a 1994 graduate of The University of San Diego High School. He enlisted in the Navy in 1998 and graduated from Thomas Edison State College in 2004 with a bachelor of science degree in nuclear engineering. He is working for Reliant Energy in Ontario, Calif. as a power plant engineer while pursuing a master's degree from Southern Methodist University.

Following a wedding trip to Whistler in British Columbia, Canada, the couple will reside in Ontario, Calif.
