Leah Marie Maderia and Eric James Adkins were united in marriage May 3 at 2:30 p.m. in a double ring ceremony at Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are Denise and Edward Maderia of Colerain. Parents of the groom are Susan Adkins of Clarksburg and Allan Adkins of Fairmont.
Denise Maderia was matron of honor and Ryan Adkins served as best man. Other attendants were Melissa Adkins, Lena Bhargava, Danielle Durie, Heather Markulis, Amanda Zelek, Aaron Maderia, Justin Maderia, Josh Swiger, Dennis Trigueros and Christopher Valle. Natalia Trigueros was the flower girl and Grayson Adkins served as ring bearer.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and a 2003 graduate of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. She currently is an obstetrics and gynecology physician for Pickaway Health Services in Circleville, Ohio.
Her husband is a 1993 graduate of Washington Irving High School and a 2002 graduate of West Virginia University College of Medicine. He has completed residencies in emergency medicine and internal medicine and is currently completing a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at The Ohio State University.
Following a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Grove City, Ohio.
