Deborah Lynn Vaughn and Jeffrey Todd Loeffler were united in marriage on May 3 at 3:30 p.m. at Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church, Shadyside, with Rev. Don Perks officiating at the ceremony. The bride was escorted by her brother, Tim Reed.
Parents of the bride are the late Eugene Reed of Wellsburg, and Barbara Reed of St. Clairsville. Parents of the groom are Saundra and Robert Dorris of St. Clairsville, and Robert Loeffler of Navasota, Texas.
Trish Porter served as matron of honor, Randy Webb served as the best man. Bridesmaids were Julie Paden, Courtney Stewart, and Kayla Stewart. Junior bridesmaids were Alexa Dorris and Taylor Porter. Haley Vaughn, daughter of the bride, was flower girl. Attendants were Amanda Stewart and Madisyn Stewart. Groomsmen were Lance Rice, Chuck Doty, and Dan Napolitano. Junior groomsmen was Austin Dorris. Evan Porter served as ring bearer.
A reception was held at Special Events in Glen Dale.
The bride is a graduate of Brooke High School and attended West Liberty and Wheeling Jesuit University. She is currently employed with the state of Ohio at Job & Family Services.
The groom is a graduate of St. Clairsville High School and holds a degree in police science at Hocking College. He is a senior patrolman with the Shadyside Police Department.
After a honeymoon in the Poconos, the couple will reside in Shadyside.
