Katherine Mackenzie Bliss and Jerry Michael Ammirante were united in marriage, Saturday, June 21, at St. Vincent de Paul Parrish, Wheeling, W. Va., with Father James Lacrosse presiding over the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Lee and Becky Beckett of Wheeling. Parents of the groom are Gene and Pam Ammirante, also of Wheeling.
Tiffany Hoffman and Ashley Halverson, were maids of honor. Jeff Rogers and Michael Jebbia served as best men. Other attendants were: Lindsay Ammirante, Stacy Kolb, Terry Nichols, JR Battista, Jose Davis, Francesca Malinky, and Brady Aiello.
A reception was held at Undo's West, St. Clairsville.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2005 graduate of West Liberty State College with a degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting. She is also a 2007 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a masters in business administration. She is employed as the finance manager at Williams Lea Corporation in Wheeling.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2001 graduate of West Liberty State College. He is employed by Bellaire Local Schools and serves as the assistant varsity basketball coach at Bellaire High School.
After a wedding trip to Oak Plantation Resort in Kissimmee, Fla., the couple will reside in Wheeling.
