Amy Joella Loyer and Scott Geoffrey Bell were united in marriage, Saturday, June 28 at 2:30 p.m., at the Calvary Presbyterian Church, St. Clairsville, with Rev. Laurie Armstrong officiating.
Parents of the bride are Vernon and Cinda Loyer of St. Clairsville. Parents of the groom are David and Christine Bell of Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Melissa Arigoni was matron of honor and Zach Vansluyters was best man. Other attendants were: Cheri Ruttig, Tze-Ann Chou, Bethany Bell, Mark Bell, Eli Cohen and Nick Vansluyters. Flower girls were Alexa McCall and Michelle Lee and Alexus Rice, the ringbearer. Joel Ruttig served as bubble attendant and Marcie Weissner was guest book attendant.
A reception was held at The Farm Restaurant and Pub, Mt. Pleasant.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2003 graduate of Ashland University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a 2005 graduate of Smith College with a master’s degree in deaf education. She is currently employed by DePaul School for Hearing and Speech as a preschool teacher for deaf children.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and a 2008 graduate of Cleveland State University with a bachelors degree in English and creative writing. He is employed at Dick’s Sporting Goods as a bicycle technician.
The couple has chosen their honeymoon in Traverse Bay, Traverse City, Mich.
