Katie Michelle Wilson and Forrest Vandon Christiansen were united in marriage at 1 p.m. July 14 at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Fr. Anthony Cincinnati officiating the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Denis and Gretchen Wilson of Wheeling. Parents of the groom are James and Jeannette Christiansen of Winchester, Va.
Carrie Wilson was maid of honor. Jamie Christiansen served as best man. Other attendants were Roxanne Turner, Tara Kolar, Brandy Mowery, Megan Forslund, Kristin White, Zade Collins, Vincent Clarke, Jason Christiansen, Ryan Turner, Ryan Gundling, Colin Gundling and Collins Gundling.
A reception was held at the Wheeling Park White Palace, Wheeling.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a 2002 graduate of Shepherd University with a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences and a 2003 graduate of Shenandoah University with a master’s degree in elementary education. She is employed as a fourth grade teacher with Loudoun County Public Schools.
The groom is a 2003 graduate Sherando High School in Stephens City, Va., and is currently pursuing an engineering degree from Lord Fairfax Community College. He is employed as a parts manager at Autozone.
After a wedding trip to the Poconos, the couple resides in Winchester, Va.
