Ashley Phillipson and Phillip Ferda were united in marriage at 3:30 on Aug. 25 at Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Richard Hasley.
Parents of the bride are Crystal Phillipson of Cadiz and Janis Phillipson of Hopedale. Parents of the groom are Deb and Phil Ferda of New Athens. .Grandparents of the bride are John and Becky Milliken of Cadiz and the late Roland and Cis Phillipson. Grandparents of the groom are Mary Alice Romshak of New Athens and the late Rudy Romshak, Betty Ferda of Flushing and the late George Ferda.
Megan Milliken was maid of honor and Derek Madzia served as best man. Other attendants were Megan and Beth Ferda, Jessica Davia, Lori Meadows, Christina Lewis, Amanda Coffland, Shawna Kenney, Amy Sutherland, Wes Phillipson, Jacob Sedgmer, Randy Culberston, Shane Kenney, Tyler Shannon, Ryan Coffman, Jason Sefsick and Lucus Smith. Jorden Brown was the flower girl and Andy and Dillion Drapp were the ring bears. Shacy Greaves served as guess book attendant.
A reception was held at the Hopedale Social Hall.
The bride works for Harrison County Help Me Grow Program.
Her husband works for UPS out of St. Clairsville.
Following a honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tenn., they reside in Cadiz.
