Amanda Elizabeth Johnson and Desi George Lekanudos were united in marriage on June 14, 2008 at 1 p.m. in a double ring ceremony at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Father Thomas Graven officiating.
Parents of the bride are Patricia Johnson of Maynard and the late Raymond Johnson Jr. Grandparents are Joseph Wodarcyk and the late Beverly Wodarcyk, the late Raymond Johnson Sr. and the late Lily Robinson Johnson. Parents of the groom are Linda and Mike Barton of Smithville and Desmond Lekanudos of Wheeling. Grandparents are the late Joan Lee Frye, the late Edward Frye, the late George Lekanudos and the late Dulice Joyce Laney.
Amanda Kadlecek served as matron of honor and Larry Carlisle served as best man. Other attendants were Sarah Viczian, Jessica Mullen, Stacy Holyak, Courtney Wodarcyk, Niki Conlan, Noel Conlan, Dave Pell, Jackson Wallen, Luke Redd, Jason Wodarcyk, Alan Conlan and Josh Conlan. Alaina Conlan served as flower girl and Kody Wodarcyk served as ring bearer. Tori and Brennan Thomas served as bubble and program attendants.
A reception was held at the Bridgeport Eagles.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and Belmont Career Center. She graduated in 2004 from Franklin University with a bachelor degree in business administration. She is employed at Florence Crittenton Services.
The groom is a 1994 graduate of Wheeling Park High School. He is employed at Technology Services Group.
Following a honeymoon to the Riviera Maya, the couple will reside in St. Clairsville
