Linda Christine Carson and Richard Chad Soos were united in marriage June 7 at 2:30 p.m. at the Interfaith Chapel on the campus of West Liberty State College with Jamie McCoy officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Parents of the bride are Richard and Joann Carson of New Cumberland, W.Va. Parents of the groom are Nancy Soos of Adena and the late Richard Soos.
Emilie Jackson served as matron of honor, Amanda Cox served as maid of honor and Jay Binger and Brent Wetherell served as best men. Other attendants were Susanna McClung, Jamie Traczyk, Mariah Hennis, Chris Krishak, Ryan Waugh, Anthony Whitaker and Josiah Jackson. Raegan Wheeldin was flower girl and Isaac Carson was ring bearer. Soloist was Emilie Jackson, pianist was Judy Allison and Brooklyn Binger passed out programs.
A dinner/dance reception was held following the ceremony at The Gateway Room.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Oak Glen High School and a 2007 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor of science degree in speech pathology and audiology and a minor in elementary education. She is employed at Berkeley Family Medicine in Martinsburg, W. Va.
Her husband is a 1999 graduate of Buckeye Local High School, a 2005 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education and a 2007 graduate of Muskingum College with a master's degree in intervention specialist. He is an intervention specialist for Widmeyer Elementary in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Following a wedding trip to Walt Disney World, the couple will reside in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
