Sherri Lynn Carpenter and Keith Alan Davidson were united in marriage on July 12 at 3:30 p.m., in the First Presbyterian Church, Shadyside with the Rev. Alice L. Phillips officiating at the double ring ceremony. The bride was escorted by her brother-in-law, Scott Edgar and given in marriage by her mother, Elda Carpenter.
Parents of the couple are Elda Carpenter of Shadyside and Robert Carpenter of Colorado and Arch and Helen Davidson of Shadyside.
Lisa Edgar was matron of honor and Arch Davidson, father of the groom, served as best man. Other attendants were: Brittnee Edgar, Rich Davidson and Nathan Edgar. Donna Joseph was organist and Courtney Piergallini, attended the guest book.
The bride is 1989 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 1997 graduate of Urbana University with a double bachelor’s degree in education. She is employed as a teacher by the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District.
The groom is a 1986 graduate of Shadyside High School and is employed by Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel.
Following a brief wedding trip, the couple will reside in Shadyside.
