Tricia Ann Skaggs and Joseph Michael DeFiore were united in marriage on July 12 at St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire with Msgr. Gene Mullett officiating.
Parents of the bride are Walt and Sharon Skaggs of Shadyside. Parents of the groom are Fred DeFiore, Jr., of North Royalton and Janet Sabo of Richfield.
Kimberly Madl and Denise Skaggs served as matrons of honor and Tony DeFiore and Ben Thiel were bestmen. Other attendants were: Jamie DeFiore, Kristin Losey, Andrea Lewis, Heather Frese, Randa Buxton, Caroline Padro, Walt Skaggs, Jr., John Madl, Andrew Lewis, Justin Bennett, Justin Kume, Erik Bishop, Dan Schnell and Collin Gibellion. Cole Skaggs served as an usher. Kara Kachmarik was the flower girl and Reese Skaggs, the ring bearer.
A reception was held at Special Events in Glen Dale.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Shadyside High School, a 2005 graduate of Muskingum College with a bachelor of science degree in nueroscience and a 2006 graduate of Ohio University with a master of health administration degree. She is employed as an office coordinator for Cardiology Inc., at St. Ann’s Hospital, Westerville, Ohio.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Normandy High School in Parma, and a 2007 graduate of Muskingum College with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He is employed as the operations manager for Sherwin Williams in Lancaster, Ohio.
Following a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple will reside in Galloway, Ohio.
