Alexis Raye Vargo and John Paul Edmonds were united in marriage Saturday, August 9 at 10:30 a.m. at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus with the Rev. William Webster officiating.
Parents of the bride are Carol Vargo of Bridgeport and Alex and Barbara Vargo of Louisville. Parents of the groom are Steve and Julie Edmonds of Galena.
Alissa Cwalinski and Michelle Walton were matrons of honor and Peter Edmonds served as the best man. Other attendants included Natalie Bonomo, Tiffany Snyder, Tara Snyder, Brad Smith, Dan Seiffert, Adam Walton, and Braden Dissinger. The junior bridesmaids included Courtney Garloch, Kaley Garloch, and Blake Brown and Turner Burns served as the junior groomsman. Kerrigan Carter was the flower girl and Everett Burns and Atherton Bunner were the ring bearers.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of St. John Central High School and a 2008 magna cum laude graduate of Ohio Dominican University with a bachelor of science in education degree for early childhood education. She is employed by Central College Christian Academy in Westerville, Ohio as a first grade teacher.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Worthington Christian High School and a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of Ohio Dominican University with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and secondary education. He is employed with Olentangy Local Schools and is teaching middle school mathematics.
After a honeymoon in New York City, the couple will reside in Worthington, Ohio.
