Sara Allison Martin and Robert Michael Vrooman were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 9 at 4:30 p.m. at East Richland Friends Church with Pastor Marty Ertel officiating.
Parents of the bride are Gordon and Cathy Martin of St. Clairsville. Parents of the groom are Ron and Kathy Vrooman of Mansfield.
Jenny Martin and Mollie Martin served as the maids of honor and Ryan Vrooman and Reed Vrooman served as the best men. Other attendants were Kelly Vrooman, Elizabeth Metz, Stacey Burkhart, Angela Duplaga, Bethany Chase, Natalie Hoag, Dee Haggerty, Geoff Metz, Andrew Stofer, Michael Dech, Josh Grund, Matthew Wilging, Drew Nelson, Anthony Stoll and Doug Hoover. Isabella Nichols and Alivia Ricker served as flower girls and Logan Ricker served as ring bearer. Dan Walton and Nathan Marx served as ushers and Allie Hundley served as the guest book attendant.
A reception as held at Undo’s West in St. Clairsville.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and is a 2008 graduate of Malone College with a bachelor’s degree as an intervention specialist. She is employed by Madison Local School District in Mansfield as a K-3 special education teacher.
Her husband is a 2004 graduate of Mansfield Christian High School and is a 2008 graduate of Malone College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in marketing. He is currently interning at Jay Industry in Mansfield.
Following a honeymoon to Fort Lauderdale, the couple will reside in Mansfield.
