Cheryl Ann Fortney and James Robert Lewis were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 30 at the Salesville Church of Faith in Salesville, Ohio.
Parents of the bride are Shelley and David Fortney of St.Clairsville. Parents of the groom are Donna and Robert Lewis of Belmont.
Hannah McKeegan and Allysyn Stewart were the flower girls and Robert Stewart served as ring bearer. Amy Stewart read during the ceremony. Kyley Stewart attended the guest book.
A reception was held at the Salt Fork Lodge & Conference Center.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St.Clairsville High School and Ohio University with a bachelor of science degree in sports sciences and a master of science degree in recreation and sport sciences. She is a 2008 graduate with a doctorate degree in physical therapy from The Ohio State University.
Her husband is a graduate of Union Local High School and Ohio Northern University with a bachelor of science degree in technical management. He is employed with Belmont Mills and is the assistant varsity wrestling coach for Union Local High School.
Following a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, the couple will reside in Belmont.
