Rachel Lynn Pettig and Michael L. Trowbridge were united in marriage on July 5 at 2:30 p.m., at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Dublin, with Pastor John Morris officiating. The bride was escorted by her grandfather.
Parents of the bride are Deborah Scowden of Saint Charles, Mo. Parents of the groom are Michael and Jean Trowbridge of Martins Ferry.
Jessica Williams was maid of honor and Stuart Moynihan was the best man. Other attendants were: Tisha Adams, Stacey Hinton, Kristine Boone, Gina Rose, Shea Rose, David Rose, Donnie Cash, Adam Childs, Kyle Hostetler and Buddy Scowden. Bella Rose was the flower girl and Ian Boone was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Riviera Country Club, Dublin.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Orchard Farm High School and a 2003 graduate of Saint Louis Community College with an associate’s degree in applied science pursuing dental hygiene. She is employed by Heartland Dental Care as a practice administrator.
Her husband is a 1999 graduate of Martins Ferry High School and a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor degree in business. He is employed by Landsel Title Agency.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Key West and currently reside in Lewis Center, Ohio.
