Nicole Sue Atkinson and Michael Gene Carpenter were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 3:30 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church with Rodney West officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Hugh and Theresa Atkinson of Barnesville. The groom is the son of Leroy and Sara Carpenter of Centerville.
Emily Atkinson was maid of honor and Ryan Carpenter was the best man. Other attendants were: Jessica Sandru, Cheryl Carpenter, Peggy Skinner, Anna Lucas, Dale Ferrell, Duane Carpenter, Greg Roe and Dustin Roe. Astin Skinner and Kyle Carpenter were junior attendants. Jayln Skinner was the flower girl and Clay Carpenter the ringbearer. Brianna Leach attended the programs and guest register.
A reception was held at the James E. Carnes Center.
Following a honeymoon to the Bahamas the couple resides in Barnesville.
