Fillipovich, Spano

Julie A. Spano and Rich J. Fillipovich were united in marriage on Aug. 9 at the First Westminster Presbyterian Church in Steubenville, with Rev. Barry Hall officiating.

Parents of the bride are Ralph and Donna Spano of Steubenville. Parents of the groom are Richard A. and Kathy Fillipovich of St. Clairsville.

Angie Spano and Chrystal McAtee were maids of honor and Richard A. Fillipovich, father of the groom, and Tyler Greenwood, son of the groom, were the best men. Other attendants were: Kelly Malpezzi, Kelly Dusick, Lisa Pearce, Missy Mercer, Heather Haysler, Kristin Kaiski, Kim Senile, Mike Malpezzi, Dustin Kioski, Ryan Yanok, Jeff Krupinski, Dave Gore, Rob Kelley, Eric Macek and R. J. Fillipovich. RaeAnn Dusick and Alexis Hardwick were flower girls and Brayden Yanok were the ring bearer. Greeters included Shayna Fillipovich, Kayla Fillipovich, Eddie Allison and Sammy Allison. Readers were Dorothy Senile and Paul Fillipovich.

A reception was held at the St. Florian Hall, Wintersville.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Edison High School and a 2002 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelor of science degree in mental health and human services. She is employed by Youth Service Systems as a case manager.

Her husband is a 1996 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and attended Ohio University. He completed his certificate for an apprentice underground coal miner and is currently employed as co-operater of Rich’s Landscaping Company, St. Clairsville.

The couple will take a honeymoon trip at a later date and reside in Adena .
