Kelly L. Vansickle and Jay R. Skaggs Jr., were united in marriage June 28 at the First Church of God. Matt Roe officiated at the 3:30 p.m., double ring ceremony. The bride was escorted by her father and godfather.
The bride is the daughter of Roy and Karen Vansickle, Tippecanoe. Her husband, is the son of Jeanie Tennet of Follansbee, and Jay and Dana Skaggs, Sr., of Astabula.
Demetra Bowman was maid of honor and Kim Breehl was matron of honor. Derek Cain and Mike Vansickle were best men. Other attendants were: Amy Stricker, Jennifer Hammond, Kari Miller, Michele Palumbo, Ashley Jones, Tommy Strickler, Tyler Bolon, Tim Bowman, Keith Shaw and Ryan Young. Flower girl was Lexie Grove and Cameron Arnold was the ring bearer. Rachel Atkinson was the vocalist. Elizabeth Hammond and Tracy Herkner was in charge of programs and Brandy Hoagland was in charge of the bubbles.
A reception was held at the American Italian Club in Dennison.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Indian Valley High School and employed at Southeast Mental Health in Martins Ferry.
Her husband is a 2000 graduate of Brooke High School and is employed at Influent Inc., New Philadelphia.
The couple honeymooned at Disneyworld, Orlando, Fla. and are residing in Tippecanoe.
