Lisa Marie Griffin and William Christopher Thamann were united in marriage on Saturday, March 21 at the Harbor of Hope Assembly of God Church by Pastor Dean Myers.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Donna Griffin of Flushing. The groom is the son of William and Martha Thamann of Ft. Wright, Ky.
Laura Griffin served as maid of honor and Michael Thamann as best man. Other attendants were Theresa Kristofeck, Julia Thamann, Gara Griffin, Kristin De Witt, Tanit Koonprasert, Joel Allen, Nick Griffin and Larry Goodrich (Jan. 3, 1978 – Oct. 30, 2008). Erin Kendall was flower girl and Anthony Auckerman was ring bearer.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Union Local High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Kentucky.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Dixie Heights High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kentucky. Both are employed as engineers for Eastman Chemicals in Kingsport, Tenn.
After a honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico, the couple will reside in Church Hill, Tenn.
