Bonnie Brianne Petros and William Joseph Burek were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 13, at the First United Methodist Church in Bellaire, with Reverend Richard Hendrix officiating.
Parents of the bride are Shirley and Ronnie Marling and Richard Petros of Bellaire. Parents of the groom are Jane and Joseph S. Burek of West Liberty, W.Va.
Rachel Travis, was matron of honor, Wendi Ellis was maid of honor and Adam Smith served as best man. Other attendants were: Natalie Burek, Leah Cunningham, Julia Fisher, Amy Rogers, Crystal Sabinsky, Amber Works, Todd Fisher, Frank Fetty, Chris Marascio, Brian Raber, Casey Rogers, Danny Stillion, Sam Travis, David Petros, Larry Hundagen, Michael Rogers and Matt O’Hara. Flower girls were Avery and Allyson Travis and Ari Petros with Kaden Cunningham serving as ring bearer. Steve Shallcross was the organist and Andrea Shallcross-Trio was the vocalist.
A reception was held at the St. Francis Centre in Follansbee.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Bellaire High School and is currently employed by Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino and Racetrack.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Brooke High School, a 1999 graduate of West Liberty State College and is currently employed by Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino and Racetrack.
After a honeymoon to the Dominican Republic, the couple will reside at their home in West Liberty.
