Amelia Diane Benner and Kevin Nathaniel Rieber were united in a double ring ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 18 in St. Joseph’s Cathedral Wheeling with the Rev. Fr. Seth T. Wymer of St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta presiding. The bride was escorted by her godfather and uncle Raymond Kreitzer and given in marriage by her father James Benner.
The bride is the daughter of James and Sandra Benner of San Tan Valley, Ariz. The groom is the son of Barbara Rieber of Columbus and Michael Rieber of Raleigh, N.C.
Felicia McMahon was matron of honor, Katrina Kreitzer served as maid of honor, and William Stull served as best man. Other attendants were Jessica Kreitzer, Edith Rieber, Collin Clemons, Brian Rieber and Christopher Richardson.
A reception was held at Generations in Wheeling.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of St. John Central High?School in Bellaire and is currently attending Franklin University pursuing a degree in business administration. She is employed by Chase Card Services in Columbus as a priority services advisor.
Her husband is a 2005 graduate of Pennsylvania Culinary Institute with an associate’s degree in culinary arts. He is currently employed by the Crowne Plaza of Dublin as a chef.
The couple will reside in Columbus following a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean.
