Ashley Ann Evans and Charles C. Bennett III were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, at Greggsville Methodist Church, Wheeling, with Pastor Judy Flinn officiating at the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. Mark Evans Sr. of Westminster, Colo. and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Taylor Sr., of Wheeling. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bennett Jr. of Martins Ferry.
Dawn Theiss and Nicole Evans were matrons of honor. Daniel Evans was the best man. Other attendants were: Tracy Rodgers, Abbey Bennett, Alexis Taylor, Caitlyn Taylor, J.R. Theiss, Zach Orzolek, Mark Evans Jr., Dustin Suriano, Jude Suriano. Hayleigh McKee was the flower girl and Cole Evans was the ringbearer.
A reception was held at the Italian American Club, Wheeling.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Wheeling Park High School. She is employed at Straub Honda Hyundai as a title clerk.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Martins Ferry High School and is employed at Apria Healthcare as a PST.
The couple will reside in Martins Ferry.
