Johns, Wodesky

Meghan Lynn Wodesky and Jeremy Joe Johns were united in marriage at 1:30 pm. Saturday, Sept. 12, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Frank O’Kruta officiating the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are David and Linda Wodesky of Colerain. Parents of the groom are John and Marsha Johns of Benwood.

Michelle Wodesky was maid of honor. Chad Malarski served as best man. Other attendants were Emily Russell, Sarah Coleman, Mandi Woodruff, Tabi Merceruio, Calley Williams, Mike Muraca, Eric Wodesky, Pat Simons, Ryan Hunker, Jon Chuckery, Kylie Gallagher, Baylie Gallagher and Peyton Muraca.

A reception was held at the Wheeling Artisan Center.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Bellaire St. John Central High School and a 2006 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor of science in speech and language pathology. She is pursuing a master’s degree in communication disorders at California University of Pennsylvania and is scheduled to graduate in August 2011. She is employed as an operations supervisor for the Wheeling Park Commission.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2005 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor of science in graphic design. He is employed by the Herald-Star and The Weirton Daily Times newspapers as the art director and web master.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico the couple will reside in Bridgeport.
