Amber Nicole Byrne and Eric William Hinkel were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1 on the beach at Marco Island, Fla., with Zack Smith officiating the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jack and Linda Byrne of St. Clairsville. The groom’s parents are Don Hinkel and Carol Knedgen of Michigan.

Crystal Johnson served as matron of honor, and Steve Hinkel served as best man. Other attendants were Hillary Samek, Jen Hammerling, Tom and Mike Komendera and Logan Johnson. Flower girls were Taylor Johnson and Ashlyn Baker, and ring bearer was Maximo Hammerling.

A reception was held at Eagle Lakes Country Club in Naples, Fla.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, a 2008 graduate of Ohio University Eastern with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a 2011 graduate of Walden University with a master of science degree in technology. She is employed as the technology teacher for Shadowlawn Elementary School in Naples, Fla.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Milford High School and attended Oakland College. He is co-owner/partner of Specialty Surfaces of Naples, Fla.

The couple will be taking a cruise to Labadee, Haiti, Falomouth, Jamicia and Cozumel, Mexico. The couple resides in Naples, Fla.
