Ashley Renee VanDyne and Jonathan Hunter McPherson were united in marriage on Sept. 24 at the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church in Shadyside. Cynthia Caldwell officiated their marriage. The bride was escorted by her father.

Parents of the bride are Greg and Michele VanDyne of Bellaire. The groom is the son of Jon (Brandy) McPherson and Angel (Eddie) Fiquris of Shadyside. Samantha VanDyne was the maid of honor and Glenda Myers was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Mandy McPherson, Jessica Schroeder and Kayla Kidd. The best man was Jaymes Taylor. The groomsmen were David Neavin, Matt Hammond, Ethan Crozier and Kody Kubanic. Lynnox Schroeder was the flower girl. Ring bearers were Ronnie Schroeder and Waylon Kidd. Program attendants were Corinna VanDyne, Colton Myers and Gage Myers.

A reception was held at the McLure Hotel in Wheeling.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2015 summa cum laude graduate of Ohio University Eastern with a bachelor’s degree of Health Services Administration. She is a spinning instructor at the World Gym in Bellaire.

Her husband is a 2012 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2014 graduate of Belmont College with an associate’s degree in Civil Engineering. He is a transit operator of CONSOL Energy in Pennsylvania.

The couple spent their honeymoon in the Pocono mountains and reside in Shadyside.
