WITH THE arrival of spring, it’s a good time to get a fresh new look to go with the fresh new season. What could be better than to visit a new beauty salon and enjoy a makeover?

Lorie Reeb, a former J.C. Penney beautician, has opened her own styling salon in the Colerain area, specifically on Sharon Road and it’s called Cuttin’ Up With Lorie.

Reeb said, “I started taking customers around the middle of October, and I just wanted to get the word out that I am here.” She said, “I decided to start my business here because the women of Colerain and the surrounding countryside really don’t have any place to go unless they go into the city.”

Lorie has added the shop onto her home making the salon  new and efficient since she is almost always on the site.

Reeb is a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and the Ohio State School of Cosmetology, and she’s more than qualified to make you look your best for any occasion.

Although Reeb uses all the different types of professional products on her customers, her prices are comparable to other smaller shops in the Ohio Valley.

She will take care of those pesky eyebrows by shaping, waxing or tweezing them. Professional  perms are offered as well as hair cuts and coloring for the entire family. Reeb said, “Coloring is my specialty. I will do anything that the customer wants or can imagine.”

She does women, men, boys and girls and one trip to Cuttin up with Lorie and you won’t want to go anywhere else. Give Lorie a try, and you won’t believe how good her work can make you feel.

Cuttin’ Up With Lorie is open on Tuesday’s from 3 to 9 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday’s from 3 to 9 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
