The Sports Bar hits Undo’s West

ST. CLAIRSVILLE Undo’s West in St. Clairsville will soon be home to The Sports Bar, which promises to be a great location to go watch games, get stats, enjoy a meal and just have fun.

Recently, the bar area at Undo’s West underwent a makeover of sorts. It now includes nine high-definition, big-screen televisions, new tables and even a “Luxury Box” area for added comfort.

While the bar already had a good crowd for Championship Sunday and the renovations are just about complete, the official grand opening of The Sports Bar will be Super Bowl Sunday making it an ideal setting to watch the Steelers take on Cardinals in crystal clear high definition.

With seating for about 100 people, Manager Mike Czelusniak said the 50-inch, flat-screen televisions are placed so they can be seen from just about everywhere.

“There isn’t a bad seat in the house,” he said.

And when it comes to seating options, the “Luxury Box” will seat 10 to 12 people and offers relaxing seating options with a little more privacy.

There will also be two monitors bringing live sports updates from Las Vegas.

Another big change will be the menu. Undo’s West’s regular menu will still be offered in the bar area, but patrons of the Sports Bar will also be able to order other traditional bar eats from a sports-themed menu.

Included on that menu will be hot wings, available with 16 different sauces from Hurricane Herk’s, and plenty of appetizers to help get people ready for the games, like potato skins, poppers and even stuffed banana peppers.

There are also burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and Cordon Bleu Chicken, as well as other sandwiches that are offered.

For those looking for a bigger meal, there are steaks and Chicken Parmesan and other dinners on the menu.

When it comes to sides, some of the big-league choices include but are not limited to loaded french fries and an onion peel.

There are also plenty of thirst quenching drinks, including a very impressive beer selection, complemented by the beer tube available at the bar.

The Sports Bar will also continue to be a place just to hang out and relax, too. A jukebox is being brought in to listen to when the games are over.

The bar hours are Monday through Friday 4 p.m. until midnight with the bar menu available until 11 p.m.; Saturdays noon until 2 a.m. with the bar menu available until midnight, and Sundays, noon until 8 p.m. Undo’s menu will be available to order during the restaurant hours, weekdays until 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays until 10 p.m. and Sunday until 8 p.m.
