ST. CLAIRSVILLE Residents in the Ohio Valley now have a new choice when it comes to taking care of their foot and ankle medical needs.

Recently, Ohio Valley native Dr. Chris Moore opened Ohio Valley Foot and Ankle Center at 52637 High Ridge Road, St. Clairsville. Conveniently located next to New Horizon Animal Hospital, Ohio Valley Foot and Ankle Center is easily accessible and centrally located less than 100 yards from Interstate 70, just off of exit 220, with plenty of ground level parking right in front of the building.

Moore was born and raised in Bellaire and graduated from St. John Central High School. He went on to to earn a master of science degree in biology from Wheeling Jesuit University before heading to Cleveland, where he earned his medical degree from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.

Following graduation from there, Moore completed a three-year surgical/medical residency in Indianapolis, Ind. He then returned to the Ohio Valley where he now practices in all types of foot care and surgery from bunions and hammer toes to reconstructive surgery and diabetic foot care.

At Ohio Valley Foot and Ankle Center, patients in need of foot care, ranging from foot and emergency foot treatment to diabetic foot care will find what they need to walk pain free.

He also takes care of trauma care of foot and ankle related injuries, like ankle and heal bone fractures.

Moore accepts most health insurance plans and is privileged at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Belmont Community Hospital and East Ohio Regional Hospital.

Ohio Valley Foot and Ankle Center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays by appointment.
