Jefferson County Clerk of Courts releases July report

STEUBENVILLE — Jefferson County Clerk of Courts John Corrigan Jr. has released his report for July.

The auto title department collected vehicle fees and taxes of $783,098.91, with $34,555.09 going to the county and $748,543.82 going to the state. Miscellaneous fees were $4,419 and watercraft fees $966.44.

Total fees and taxes were $807,796.66, with $39,940.53 going to the county and $767,856.13 to the state.

For the legal department, new cases filed included: 41 miscellaneous, 63 Ohio Department of Taxation, 46 certificate of judgment, 34 civil, 10 notaries, 23 domestic, 9 criminal, and none in the court of appeals.

Clerk fees paid into the county totaled $10,327.32.

The Rayland title office processed 726 titles with license plate revenue of $752.75. Also processed were 28 passports with revenue of $980

The courthouse title office processed 24 passports with revenue of $840; recorded license plate revenue of $1,787.25; and saw a total of $39,759.91 in total auto title fees paid. The total revenue paid into the county was $42,299.91, with county total titles of 2,473.
