ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Common Pleas Judges Frank Fregiato and John Vavra are pleased to announce the graduation of Laura Zupko from the Ohio Court Management Program.

Only 40 court professionals received this national recognition.

The Court Management Program is a certification program available through the National Center for State Courts Institute for Court Management and The Supreme Court of Ohio Judicial College. Court leaders accepted into the program must complete a three-year program that addresses specific topics pertaining to managing courts. Participants who successfully complete the Ohio Court Management Program receive a diploma and nationally recognized certification as a Certified Court Manager.

Zupko was presented with her diploma on Aug. 23 by Supreme Court Justice Judith L. French and Administrative Director of the Supreme Court of Ohio Jeffrey Hagler.

Zupko began her career with the Belmont County Common Pleas Court in 2006 and became the court administrator in 2014. Prior to her employment with the Court, Zupko was employed by the Ohio Senate and the Ohio House of Representatives.
