Other spooky activities
BELMONT – The village will host a free Halloween Fun Night from 6:30-8 p.m. Saturday at the Belmont Gym. It will include games, an auction and refreshments with auction proceeds going to the park fund.
BETHESDA – The community will host a costume parade Oct. 31 with line-up at 5 p.m. at the Epworth Youth Center in the park. It begins at 5:30 p.m. and will proceed through the main park entrance and down Main Street to the Municipal Building. Prizes will be awarded to various age groups.
FLUSHING – Flushing Volunteer Fire Department will host a cakewalk from 7-9 p.m. Saturday with concessions available. Costumes are optional for children and adults.
HOLLOWAY – The Holloway Monster Bash will be held 6-8 p.m. for children up to junior high age and from 8 p.m. to midnight for junior high through high school seniors. The event is at the Holloway Old Timers location and will include a cakewalk, treat bags, games, free food, a DJ and more.
