Ohio University Eastern announces STEM Night

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — High school juniors and seniors and their families are invited to attend STEM (science, technology, engineering, math and medicine) Night at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Ohio University’s Eastern Campus.

Those in attendance will learn about the importance of a STEM career, receive a brief overview of what degree programs students can begin/complete at the Eastern Campus, and the career fields associated with these programs. Financial aid and scholarship information will be also be presented.

Interested students will also have the opportunity to visit the anatomy lab and learn more about which degrees can lead to a career as a nurse, physical or occupational therapist, physician assistant, engineer and more. In addition, a representative from the Russ College of Engineering will be on campus to discuss program options at the Athens Campus.
