ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The 2020 HEAP Winter Crisis Program will be available for utility assistance through March 31.

Eligible households, with less than a 10-day supply, may receive a one-time delivery of bulk fuel or propane valued at up to $900. Utility customers may receive assistance up to $175 for regulated utility customers and up to $750 for unregulated utility customers to prevent disconnection of service, restore service or establish service.

Utility customers may also sign up for the Percentage of Income Payment Plan, which is a payment plan based on monthly income.

Walk-in appointments are available starting at 8 a.m. on weekdays, and those patrons will be seen between appointments. There is a limit of 10 walk-ins per day.

The following information is needed at the time of application: income verification for the last 30 days for all household members, Social Security cards and birth certificates for each household member and utility bills, regardless of status of service.
