Anyone wishing to report a non-violent, low-level crime or issue can now visit https://www.belmontsheriff.com/report-a-crime/ a deputy will contact the reportee within 24 to 48 hours to take a full report.

The initiative is to reduce contact due to the novel coronavirus COVID-19.

Deputies are available to anyone needing to see one face-to-face. The non-emergency line at the 911 center is 740-695-2212.

The public is asked to take advantage of online reporting for their own safety and that of first responders.
