Menards Celebrates First Season At The Highlands

Photo by Joselyn King -- Menards is up and running for its first holiday season at its location at The Highlands.

TRIADELPHIA — Menards at The Highlands has the items a flustered holiday host needs this Christmas season — whether it is paint for the wall, red garland, a new stove or the ingredients for sugar cookies.

“Guests love that you can buy lumber, carpeting, electrical (items) and all the things for your next home improvement project — and also pick up the items needed to make holiday cookies,” said Corey Curtis, general manager of Menards at The Highlands.

Menards just opened at The Highlands in late October, but it already has become a popular local shopping destination.

“It has been a great first Christmas for the Triadelphia Menards,” Curist said. “Guests are amazed by our huge selection and range of products. Guests enjoy our large and bright displays with our large in stock selection of construction materials and things you would not normally find in a home improvements store — like our grocery department.

“It has been overall a great experience, (and) Menards plans to help guests with their home improvement needs at The Highlands for a very long time.”

One of the most prevalent attractions at the opening of Menards was a forest of artificial Christmas trees and holiday items in the center of the store.

“Menards still has decorations for your Christmas decorating needs, as well as live trees and garland,” Curtis said. “There are also many ideas for gifts for that special person.”

Among the top gift items for sale at Menards this holiday season are weighted blankets, wireless doorbells and air fryers.

There are insulated winter hats and gloves available there, as well as blow dryers, curling irons and other personal care items.

A large offering of pet supplies also can be found at Menards. Among these are pet bowls, leashes, and pet food and treats for Dancer and Prancer.

Menards has the items for sale one would expect in a home improvement store — lighting, kitchen cabinetry, appliances, and plumbing and electrical supplies.

But the store also contains a large grocery department with plenty of snack items and cereal.

There is an automotive section, and a sizable toy section.

There are also aisles of available cleaning products at Menards, which will come in handy as homeowners begin post-holiday cleaning in the new year.

“I have seen a wide variety of items we are selling on a daily basis, I think guests love our selection of in stock merchandise and the option for delivery seven days a week,” Curtis said.
