The staff of the Belmont County Auditor’s Office accepts a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in FInancial Reporting from the state. The award covered Fiscal Year 2019, when the staff worked under three auditors as then-auditor Roger Conroy died in office and was succeeded by interim auditor Sheila Turner, then Anthony Rocchio was appointed to complete the term. Newly elected Auditor Cindi Henry said she is proud of the staff’s excellence and hard work. The award is presented to offices that achieve excellence in reporting, no fines for recovery or material weakness. Only 10 percent of Ohio’s counties are so recognized. The Belmont County office has received the award several times.
