Traffic stop leads to two arrests in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT — A traffic stop Tuesday resulted in the arrest of two Cleveland men for drug trafficking.

The Bridgeport Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle Tuesday along Interstate 70. The officer observed indicators of criminal behavior and requested assistance from the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit.

A K-9 officer was deployed and a search of the vehicle was conducted resulting in the seizure of approximately 3.5 ounces of suspected cocaine and approximately $5,700 in cash.

Coley Mack-Luckett, 21, and Terry Baker, 24, both of Cleveland, were arrested and transported to the Belmont County Jail. Mack-Luckett and Baker are each charged with felony drug possession and felony trafficking with a Major Drug Offender Specification. Mack-Luckett and Baker are each being held in lieu of a $40,000 bond.
