Man found with 40 grams of meth in Ferry

MARTINS FERRY — A Bellaire man wanted for a parole violation was arrested Friday and found in possession of more than 40 grams of methamphetamine.

Richard Anthony Lollathin, 47, was wanted by the Adult Parole Authority for a violation of his parole, according to the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office.

Lollathin was arrested Friday after the sheriff’s Criminal Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle in Martins Ferry.

During the traffic stop, Lollathin was found to be in possession of over 40 grams of methamphetamine.

Lollathin remained lodged in the Belmont County Jail on Wednesday for the parole violation.

Additionally, the sheriff’s office will be requesting two felony charges for possession of methamphetamine.
