Bellaire High School announces homecoming court

Bellaire High School homecoming king and queen candidates include, from left, Talon Hughes, Lizzie McAninch, Jake Dowling, Deena Call, Anna Pramik, Ray Ray Pettigrew, Jake Heatherington, Sophia Porter, Terrin Frazier and Adison Teasdale. On Friday, the homecoming court, band, cheerleaders and Red Line will march through town visiting businesses to boost morale, followed by a pep rally for the student body. At 11 a.m. Saturday, the queen candidates, band, cheerleaders and Red Line will parade from the high school to Nelson Field for kickoff of the Indian Creek game. At halftime, the queen candidates will be recognized and the 2022 homecoming queen will be crowned. Later that day during the dance, the king candidates will be recognized and the 2022 homecoming king crowned. Shortly after the crowning, the king and queen will have the first dance, leading the way for the dance to start.
