‘American Pickers’ filming again in West Virginia

THE HISTORY Channel documentary series “American Pickers” is returning to West Virginia this March, with skilled antique pickers searching the Mountain State for valuable antiques.

The show, a History Channel staple since 2010, features Mike Wolfe as he travels the country looking for antiques in people’s garages, barns, outbuildings and homes. Along the way, the pickers also look for the interesting characters who hold onto those items and listen to the interesting stories behind them.

The show is looking for leads and wants to find hidden treasures around West Virginia. Anyone who has or knows someone who has a large private collection or accumulation of antiques that the pickers could spend the better part of a day searching through are encouraged to contact the show.

The pickers do not pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or anything open to the public. The show takes COVID-19 guidelines seriously and follows all those guidelines and protocols for safe filming set by the state and the Centers for Disease Control.

Those interested can send us their name, phone number, location, and description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call (646) 493-2184. They also can be found on Facebook @GotAPick.
