At 4:48 a.m. Monday, a deputy was out at a location on Main Street in Bridgeport assisting units from the Bridgeport Police Department on a traffic stop.

At 2:31 a.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 westbound near exit 213 issued a warning to a motorist for driving outside of marked lanes.

At 11:37 p.m. Sunday, a caller from Red Roof Inn in St. Clairsville said a customer was not happy with getting refunded to her credit card. The customer wanted cash and reportedly screamed and yelled about it. The customer left before deputies arrived.

At 9:21 p.m. Sunday, a complainant from Clark Street, Holloway, reported a male was texting threats to her via Snapchat. Information was taken for a report.

At 7:18 p.m. Sunday, units responded to a report of an active domestic situation at an address on Bond Court in Belmont. One male was taken into custody. Richard John Martinez was booked into the Belmont County Jail on a charge of domestic violence.

At 1:24 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported there were kids throwing rocks on the road and at cars near an address on Winding Hill Road, Bellaire. A deputy responded to the scene but did not locate the children, according to the report.

At 3:46 a.m. Sunday, units were contacted by the hotel desk clerk at the Sleep Inn on Reco Drive in Belmont. A male had been asked to leave for setting off the hotel smoke alarm from vaping, and the male became argumentative. Officers advised him that he had to leave the hotel. The male packed up and left without further incident.

At 1:21 a.m. Sunday, a deputy on a traffic stop in Interstate 70 eastbound near mile marker 217 in Richland Township issued a verbal warning to a West Virginia motorist for failure to signal his merge onto the exit.

On Friday, police arrested Vincent Valdis Ramirez, 30, of Dayton, Ohio, and transported him to the Belmont County Jail, charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Tiffany Joelle Brooks, 38, of Dayton, Ohio, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, possession of drug abuse instruments and failure to reinstate on Friday. She was taken to the jail.

Brandon Michael Jarvis, 29, of Lima, Ohio, was arrested Friday and charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug abuse instruments. He was lodged at the jail.

On Friday, Bryan Matthew Vickers, 45, of Virginia Street, Martins Ferry was cited for traveling the wrong way on a one-way street and fined $124.

Kyle Burk Kessler, 20, of Cindy Drive, St. Clairsville was cited Friday for a stop sign violation and fined $124.

Troy Anthony Klutts, 21, of West Main Street, St. Clairsville was cited for traveling 64 mph in a 50 mph zone on Friday and fined $139.

Jackson Ryan Palkovic, 21, of East Cove Avenue, Wheeling was cited Fridayfor expired registration and fined $124.

Michael J. Gray, 77, of Pattons Run Road, Martins Ferry was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead and fined $124 Thursday.

On Thursday, Ryan Neal Custer, 47, of Second Street, Dillonvale was cited for driving under suspension and improper display and released. No bond amount was listed.

On Wednesday, Thomas Matthew Saxon, 47, of Center Street, Martins Ferry was charged with domestic violence and transported to the jail.

Gabriel Balough Harkins, 22, of Market St., Yorkville was charged with theft and abuse of harmful intoxicants and taken to the jail.

Shannon Marie Brown, 42, of North Erie Street, Wheeling, was cited March 21 for expired registration and fined $124.

On March 21, Jordan Michael Conaway, 25, of Clinton Street, Martins Ferry was arrested and charged with driving under suspension, turn and brake signal violations and a warrant and transported to the jail.

Denice McGuire, 53, of Sam McGuire Road, Rayland was cited March 21 for driving under suspension and fictitious plates and fined $510.

Sara Nikole Warner, 23, of Guernsey Street, Bellaire was cited for no driver’s license on March 21 and fined $184.

Officers served a warrant March 21 on Ashley Renee McManus, 34, of Ravine Street, Mingo Junction and transported her to the jail.
